Copied from my other Suggestions post:
This would protect images (even though someone could still use a screenshot) and music from copiers. However, unlike disabling remixing, it can still be shared with the automatic credit "based on __'s project" and doesn't go against Scratch's morals. It was be password-unlockable so that the original creator could export.
What do you all think?

I don't know... when you upload a project, isn't it like saying "I'm uploading this online, aware that anyone can come along, download it, and use resources"?

I have to agree with Chrichb.
Just say in the project notes to give credit to you!

Kind of. But this enforces the protection of credit that is stated in Scratch's liscence wihout restricting legitimate use. In other words, I could download something and remix its music, but I couldn't export the music and upload it, claiming that it's mine. This feature can be turned on and off too; you could allow exporting if you want.
Does anyone else agree?

I don't really see that many people uploading their own music, and someone who was determined could still obtain it fairly easily. (Just record it) To be honest, it seems a little unnecessary. It's not to say that it's disheartening when someone posts your work without credit, but people will always find a way around the system if they want to.

I have to agree with Harakou. Still, everything you share on Scratch is protected by the Creative Commons license, essentially saying that anybody can use anything you share as long as they give you credit. So if you want to really protect your stuff, just share it somewhere other than Scratch.

Yes, but the point of this is NOT to protect work from others using it, but to enforce the license.

How so? The license says that private use to any extent is allowed, and they may use it in any form as they wish, as long as they give you credit. That does not mean restricting exporting, because that goes against the license anyways.

I think sprites with scripts should come with a tag which shows which project they came from and on the right hand side online it lists the names of the scratchers and the part of the project of which it came from.
I don't agree with this disabling.

I say easy way to tell is to put in size 12 watermark font on the image using an image editor:
*credit to (user)
I would do it!
And the advantage: They can't remove it without leaving the letters' shape there!
I disagree, follow my method if you are so concerned.
