I've been trying to upload my first project but it completely glitches and does all the scripts at once and crashes firefox:\
like it's crazy, I highly doubt it's too big, any pointers?
like does it matter that on the about the project thing is too long or something?

um there are file size limits which is 10MB getting near that can cause problems, plus you might be running to many scripts at once, which might cause firefox to crash, all projects run best when downloaded and run in presentation mode

images are pretty much a last resort for compressing, but music and sounds should always be compressed, if you compress it at the highest it maintains full quality and decreases the file size by over half, normal might cause some distortion, low sometimes doesn't, and lowest really shouldn't have to be used

Sometimes if you haven't typed your user name and password exactly right when trying to share your project it will not upload. Confirm your user name and password are correct by logging into the Scratch site first.

Your firewall may limit the size of data uploaded via an HTTP "POST" request. Try uploading a completely empty project. If that works, then this could be the problem. If not, adjust your firewall settings. Certain firewalls can prevent you from uploading your project to the site. It could also be that you need to allow direct access to the host "scratch.mit.edu"
