As some of you know already, there's a club on deviantART just for Scratchers. The group has been a bit sleepy lately, so we decided to hold an art contest again!  smile

I joined a few months back. I don't like it.

Another reason is, why use dA, when I have SumoPaint? I have been around SP for a couple of years now.

I wish I had a chance of winning, but I lost my tablet pen for about a week and my scanner is horrible. My camera isn't any better.

dA has a group system where it just makes contests a lot easier to use an organize. A lot of Scratchers are on dA already (I believe Maki-Tak is actively making a list of all Scratchers on deviantART, and it just keeps growing!).

Besides, it seems that, with SumoPaint, you're stuck to using the SumoPaint system. In the case if dA, you're not required to use dA's muro system - the contest is open to all art mediums (including that feet art entry I just saw submitted earlier  tongue ).
