A bit of heartfelt advice: if you want to be a mod then don't try to sound like one. People will begin to resent you for that. Just keep being helpful, kind, and productive and a position will open up eventually. Then once you get elected you can adopt the Condescending Moderating Tone.

My guess would be fullmoon just wanted you to always consider your posts a second time before making them. It's always a good idea to remove anything you think could be harmful or unproductive.
