I have been looking through text wars. What exactly is it? You never say. It looks interesting, but what exactly do you do, how you play?

there are 4 pages look here to see a text that was mostly completed http://scratch.mit.edu/galleries/view/27043 also once the warfare is over there are 10 awards, there are no limits it runs solely off of using the commenting feature, you gain points for winning which can be used to buy more stuff at the weaponry shop

Seems complicated. You should make like a site or something for it, like Text Wars as the title. Freewebs is really easy as you probably know. Why not give it a go or something, otherwise I'll see what time I have to challenge

I might have time tomorrow to join and do a battle. And I am pretty sure coolstuff and… well, lots of people know HTML, Javascript, etc, and would most likely be able to help you make it. I would, but I'm an amateur at coding sites

Now, let me ask this again: Can anybody please explain what all this "text wars" has to do with Scratch, other than hijacking the Scratch forums and the Scratch gallery system for chatting?
See, that's where a project explaining it and maybe giving an example would come in handy

I think moving this whole Text Wars to it's own web site is a great idea! The Scratch forums are for...well...discussing Scratch. As far as I can see Text Wars has nothing to do with Scratch.
