i'll try to summarize the whole campagin for u:

Alexander Mason (voiced by Sam Worthington, Jake from Avatar) awakes strapped to a chair. He has no idea where he is. A mysterious, warped voice interrogates him. Numbers flash on monitors before him. He is asked what they mean. Mason says he doesn't know. Through multiple flashbacks (in which the player plays out missions), the story, and the meaning of the numbers, becomes clear.

THE FOLLOWING TAKES PLACE IN THE PAST OF THE CAMPAIGN:
Throughout the whole game, Mason works with a close friend and ally named Reznov (I think his first name is Victor). Reznov helped Mason escape from a Russian prison, but Reznov doesn't make it out. Later, Mason sees him again, in Vietnam. At the climax of the story, it is revealed that Mason had been brainwashed earlier in the campaign, when he was captured by the Russians. Reznov had been killed. Mason had been imagining Reznov throughout almost the entire story. His brainwashing had programmed him to assasinate President Kennedy. But because Reznov helped him escape, Mason viewed him as a resistant figure, and his mind subconsciously broadcasted Reznov's persona to help him fight the brainwashing. The numbers were the code, being broadcasted all around the USA, to the brainwashed agents to start attacking the US. But Mason's program to kill President Kennedy wasn't completely successful. Sometimes he resisted, other times he gave in to the brainwashing.

THE FOLLOWING TAKES PLACE IN THE PRESENT OF THE CAMPAIGN:

They kill all of the enemies. Right before Mason kills the person who brainwashed him, he shouts, "You tried to make me kill my own president!". The bad guy replies, "Tried?" and then Mason kills him.

Archived footage is shown of JFK, right before his assassination. Mason is seen in the crowd.



Really good, isn't it? I'm sorry if my adoption is a little confusing. Black Ops was incredible fun, and I highly recommend getting it, along with an Xbox 360

I personally thought the campaign was bad. It was really just a jumble of different scenes, and it was too movie like. It seemed like the makers made a bunch of explosions, added gameplay around the explosions, and made something to piece each level together.

well, i'm a christmas noob, so i don't know much. but i enjoyed it. i wonder when CoD 8 is coming out...i think in about a year or so. i've heard that it could be:

Call of Duty: Space Warfare

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty: Future Warfare

I hope it's Space Warfare or Future Warfare. that would be awesome.

Makes no sense though, the cutscene shows them with great guns then he has some stupid pistol ._.
