How do you use "Tilt" and "Distance" with a PicoBoard

I noticed in the PicoBoard sensing area in Scratch their are "Tilt" and "Distance" sensing blocks. Whenever I try to use them (I have a PicoBoard) they always report "0". How do you use tilt and distance and what are they

I think those features are for LEGO WeDohmm  But I'm not sure...

Yep, you're correct. The "Tilt" and "Distance" sensors are supposed to be used with a LEGO WeDo Kit,  with the special pieces that are given in the kit - not for a Picoboard. Sorry.

Oh, darn. I was already thinking about an awesome marble tilt game.  smile

EDIT: and aren't those LEGO WeDo kits like two hundred dollars?? That is waaay over priced.

Right now, on the official LEGO Education website where they sell the kits, they are 129.95 USD. I bought it for my birthday, and yes it is quite a bit pricey. But it's supposed to be a product for education, so what can you expect  tongue

Why would you expect education to be pricey Scratch-wise? Scratch itself is free  tongue

Nah, LegoWeDo is different.
