Usually, I only go by these rules:
-No outside healing besides Pokémon Centers
- One Catch per route/area. Gift Pokémon do not count.
- Fainted = Killed, must release.

yeah I tried those rules on blue but I gave up after 3-4 hours
I'm gonna try again though.
when you tried did you beat the elite 4?

I have played red. That was a long time ago around the time I got gold.
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.
