Why does everyone quit and plus you shouldn't because if someone is mean to me I don't feel like I wanna quit.

You're right, people shouldn't quit because someone is mean to them. They should just report what that person did wrong or "ignore" that person.
But, on the other hand, sometimes people just quit because it's just time to move on. Do you expect people to be on Scratch for their whole lives? Sometimes if a person quits its because they feel that they've used Scratch and learned a lot from it and they might feel they've given back to the Scratch community as well. After all, you can't stay in the same place forever.

We do see people leaving Scratch for a variety of reasons. Some leave because they are moving on to a different programming language. Others quit because they go back to school and don't have as much time as before. Sometimes Scratchers quit temporarily because they go on vacation or have another obligation.
There are some who decide to leave because they do not feel they get enough attention. It is difficult to address this because different people require different types and amounts of attention. For some of our new users, the attention they seek is often simply help answering questions and advice on projects. Others want feedback on their projects which they worked hard on and feel proud about. Our goal is to create features and structure the site so that the community can help provide some of this support. Comments, Show and Tell forums, tags, and galleries are all ways in which every member of Scratch can help support and give attention the rest of the community. If you have suggestions for other types of features, please let us know
Lastly, we see some Scratchers leave because they aren't getting along with others in the community. This saddens me the most because as a community, it is our job to support one an other. Each member of the Scratch community has some responsibility to help others act appropriately, think about their actions & learn the right ways to communicate. When a member of the community decides to leave, it is because they feel rejected. Rejection can show itself in many ways: anger, sadness, desperation. If we allow people to turn away because of these reasons, we are allowing our community to break apart. Reaching out to Scratchers who decide to leave because they feel rejected will help to support the individual as well as the community as a whole.
