This script uses Makeself to make a self-extracting archive that runs scratch with a project on (in theory) any unix-like OS. It actually only has squeak binaries for linux and OSX, but it should be possible to add.
Feature: You can make changes and re-pack. The first line the script prints out after the extracting part is the temp directory. If you save the project there, as Project.sb, it will be re-packaged into the archive.
There are three scripts in the directory. exscratch.sh is very basic. It has no repackaging or OSX support. exscratch2.sh has repackaging, but no OSX support. exscratch3.sh has repackaging and should create an archive that works on OSX.
Get it as a self extractor here or as a .tar.bz2 here.
EDIT: Now tested os Mac OSX. It works. smile

I downloaded it even though I don't use Linux (though I have it installed, both as a dual-boot and a VM) because I thought I might try it out.
