Wow. They are money hungry.

Those ads seem like mild subliminal messages. Many people would not really notice it if they concentrate on the game. Do these games have a terms of use saying that ads may be displayed in the games? If they don't three things could happen. We do nothing. We complain and threaten Microsoft and other companies and they either put it in the terms of use or they are forced to remove it.

Down with Microsoft's greed! On another note, I think my families getting a X-Box 360 for Chirstmas.

Ha. Subliminal Advertising FTW. I think that Burnout Dominator had something like that...ads on billboards. More games that are trying to be realistic are doing that more these days. Or they need money. Either way.


With all due respect, I would prefer the Move or to just boot our unused Wii. I don't feel like jumping around and acting like a fool just to play games.

Even Need for speed and burnout:paradise had lots of in-game advertising. Burger king restaurants and the cingular mobile logo were common in nfs. And paradise just advertised for cars.

Guys - let's keep the "chatter," for lack of a better word, to a minimum, okay?

Anyways, we got the Kinect for Christmas. I must agree with Lightnin on the advertising. I was doing hurdles and I realized that I was jumping over Samsung logos. Anyways, it's loads of fun, and far better than the Wii was (though it was pretty revolutionary for its time). And while the Wii's ads touted your ability to "work out" while video gaming, the Kinect ads don't, yet they somehow manage to do a way better job than the Wii ever did.
