Scratch Virus?

So I booted up my computer on the weekend, and I shut it off before the internet could connect, and before the Welcome Center could pop up. Later, when I turned it on, it couldn't boot. I fixed it, but I uninstalled Scratch in fear of a virus. Does Scratch have viruses?  sad  EDIT: I hadn't been on Scratch at all on that day.

There's a reason why I haven't uploaded anything in a year...  sad

Scratch does not contain any viruses whatsoever.  smile

It's more likely you messed the computer up when you shut it down improperly, which is why your computer couldn't boot up properly initially. ^^

If Scratch had viruses, it wouldn't be this successful  tongue

It is possible to mess up your version of the Scratch program...but all you have to do is download a new version and install it and it should make everything right again.

I'd really like to know what this Mech Chat project told you do that messed up your Scratch installation though.  Do you have any details or a link to the project?

You can just report your first post in the thread and ask for it to be closed; a mod will come and close it for you.
