TinyUrl

This website lets you make your urls smaller and allows you to have more room in your sig.

I find it very useful

Tiny URL

Do you use this site?
Do you think it is useful?

Re: TinyUrl

Yes that site is very useful for disguising inappropriate links
Um I mean its uh good for playing pranks on people
Yeah that
But it doesn't make the URL much shorter
Theres some other sites with really short names that I don't remember that make really short URLs but yeah I don't remember their names

Good points, but im saying for like images in your sig and links to projects, it shortens them a ton, making it useful for avertising in your sig

Re: TinyUrl

I use bit.ly because I have a Chrome extension that I can use to make a bit.ly link for whatever page I'm on. But I sometimes use dft.ba if I want to remind people to be awesome.  big_smile

Re: TinyUrl

TinzURL links have relativelz long names. I use imgur.

But I guess 3.lz would be the best.

Re: TinyUrl

I use my "URL Shortener" extension in Chrome. An example would be: http://m94.us/TK9Fh, which is the link to this very page. It's built upon the m94somethingorother engine.

Nice add-on, especially for Twitter.

smile  I use v.gd for the URL shortening service I'm building on my site and for normal shortening. Very good service!

Re: TinyUrl

I don't shorten URL's. I'm lazy.
