The issue is some of us in the forums can be...touchy...over Hetalia. You know, why are you even asking? I just throw things out and try to see what sticks.

Well, it's kind of Anime in general really. Bit of a shame, too. I don't like it that much, but it seems that some people are annoyed at the Anime art projects so they just hate Anime in general and apparently also anyone who mentions it often because they enjoy it. It's all kinda sad.

Personally I think Hetalia is really good, not because of flashy effects, long episodes, or a riveting plot, just because it's funny.


To be honest the fanbase is quite....um, different, but if you watch the anime itself and know a bit about history I'm sure most people will like it :3 It pokes fun a things without being vulgar, and has original characters. I mean

Excited Copyright- abuser, China
Weird cat guy, Greece

this stuff sounds insulting to the countries, you have to watch the show for it to make sense. I mean I don't know about Poland but

I mean, China does create knock-offs of products and mass-produces them. (Shinatty!)

Littletonkslover: It's partly romance, but mostly it's... It's sort of like a karate spy movie, like Rush Hour... I don't know the word.

It's not random. It has a few OC's but only one is a main character. I've got a beginning and an end, but the middle is wide open.
