FileZilla port glitch

Hello, I needed some help on something I am new on and this is the biggest site by population that I have a account on and that has forums, so I decided to post this on here, but I couldn't choose so I put it here. Alright, moving on...

You have to be geeky (like me) to answer this question and you have to have experience on FileZilla.  I am trying to make a webpage with HTML and I am done with that part but I have to transfer it into a webpage, yes I got the ftp account and all that, and then I need the program which transfers it into a webpage. The program is called FileZilla. So umm, I go to site manager  and type in my host, my password, and my user but here where the glitch comes, I type in the port which is 21 (for ftp its 21, for sftp its 22) and when I click connect or OK, it erases the port and ignores what I typed for the port. How do I fix this?

Re: FileZilla port glitch

You shouldn't have to type the port, just leave it blank and let FileZilla do the rest (presuming you have the right protocol typed in). I don't have this problem though, are you using the latest version?

Yawn.
