Bumping Your Thread At The Right Time

Do you ever bump a thread, and then the next time you check there are no posts. I've gone through that a lot. Fortunately, I have a way to have your threads more likely to get post-bump posts.

You need to bump it at the right time. The most active time for Scratchers is 5-7 PM, Eastern time. So don't bump it when you go on your computer at 3 AM.

The time is just an overall thing. It doesn't really matter. Just bump it when there are a lot of topics that have recently got posted in (best if more than 1 page).

I hope this helps you!

I never bump my threads
I usually don't have to, but if its dead then its dead
I don't care

Re: Bumping Your Thread At The Right Time

Cool, great guide on how to get unwarranted attention to topics which have most probably died for a reason and, judging by many of the topics which are bumped by their creators (often for 3+ posts in a row, thus proving that no one was interested in the first place and the topic did die for a reason), don't need to be bumped in the first place.

Re: Bumping Your Thread At The Right Time

Just bump whenever it gets too low and delete your previous bump

Why are you arguing about this on this topic?  It's not adding anything useful to the discussion that I can see.  And please - keep the conversation polite  smile
