You left off a bunch of script in the <key [] pressed?> block!
Hmm... That's odd. It's from my byob project that I use to keep all of my blocks in. I'll fix it now.

I did see the picture because (for now) our internet is going weird and it isn't blocking anything so no time limit! Kinda. I take that back my mom and dad still kick me off. BTW you left out

Sorry, I'm too lazy to search the entire thread, but...
Has anyone made a bounce block, or code using current blocks, so I can put it in byob?
You know, like [if on edge, bounce] but without the if and on edge part?

Due to weebly resizing here is the download link. http://www.weebly.com/uploads/5/4/1/3/5 … stmas2.png
(You did say we could enter as many as we want. Right?)

Yes. Kind of. It is a bounce off sprite and it assumes the sprite is a circle. here

Sounds interesting... If you want to work in collaberation with me, Daffy22, I'd love to give it a go (If you've got time with all the other stuff you're doing!) Certainly, I've got the next two weeks off sixthform, so apart from a few essays, I have bundles of time!
Great! I'll get started right away. I'll start by making a CSS template. From there we can tweak it to the way you like.

I go to sleep and miss all this?!
Thanks for the christmas images, I'll put them into the current submissions section. Everyone else, the competition ends 21st December at 16:00 Scratch time!
Pecola, people can see your name next to every post, and I think pretty much every active scratcher on the forums will have the numbers taken off their name when they are referred to by people who have spoken to them before as the number isn't really needed anymore to define the person they wish to refer to. Think of it as first name terms I can call you pecola1 if you like, and I already type all the numbers into the important block posts so that noone else could think it meant them.
Kayybee, The closest to your requested block is probably by MathWizz which is a Scratch block you can find here.
Daffy22 and MathWizz,
I love the look of the website template, I think woody, coffee colours will allow us to keep the warm, friendly feeling of a library (the template seems to have an error where the shadow dissapears about two thirds of the way down.)
Before I go for the website idea completely, I want to discuss the idea with coolstuff the moderator who I-topic'd this thread in the beginning to see what would happen to the thread and what he/she thinks about the idea.
Daffy22, if you "view image" the block library header, you should be able to see it in the full resolution nXIII supplied it.
Oh, and don't put a forum on the site. I don't think it's needed and it would be a way of keeping this one alive

Okay, I've fixed the no shadow thing
I'm now going to add the logo and some buttons. What pages would you like?
My idea...

Block Request - Scratch
ask %s
This will allow you to ask the user but not wait for an input. This will allow you to make projects like what is 5x5? and you only have five seconds to answer.

Hi!
I like the page ideas. Is there a way we can give each blocks tags? So name, submitter, type, catagory and mod? Then people could do tag searching
I think that if possible, the "add a block" form should, once completed be on display to any website moderators, then they can check the block for rudeness or stupidity before submitting the block for public viewing. This will allow us to keep the site as safe and young-people friendly as the Scratch site - Something I think is important!
P.S. it's spelt "Discussion"!
Something to think about: Would it be a good idea to nick the style sheet and layout of the Scratch site for our website? It might make Scratch users (and their parents) less worried about an external site.

Yes thats what I'm going to do. Have tags for each block and if you want I can add a feature to allow moderators to approve blocks too.
As for the scratch style sheet. I don't think we'd be allowed to because of copyright. Not sure
However if you look at it now you can begin to see what it will look like (http://www.block-library.freehostingcloud.com/template.php)

Yes, I had a look It's looks great! (The source code for the Scratch website was released as open source a few months ago, though I can't remember where! (we don't have to use it either though))
I think approving blocks is a useful step to stop useless blocks being shared. If someone clicks submit to a block, it can be viewed by us as the form they filled in (or similar) but with their answers in the text boxes. Then if they made a small mistake we can easily edit the text they submitted before approving

Hey Daffy and Sparks! I'm fg123, one of the programmers for Scratch Resources. I can help greatly with the php scripting and/or the designing. Um... Can I help? I can get a .co.cc domain, thus removing the freehostingcloud thing. I use 000webhost btw.
Contact me on one of my projects and we can further discuss this matter...

I do like freehostingcloud because it has no adds and unlimited webspace!
But it would be usefull if you could investigate free domain names like .co.cc and .tk ect. Which one would be better and easier.
