I like Scratch's paint program. I made a picture using it, but I don't know if you can turn a sprite into a regular picture. I made a screenshot to save my picture, but now it's kind of blurry. Is it possible to turn a painting you made in Scratch directly into a picture (such as a JPEG)? If you can, how?

What you do is you right click on the sprite costume. A two item menu will pop up. Click export costume. Select the folder to save it to and you're done!

...or a GIF. There seems to be some determining factor that Scratch uses to choose between BMP and GIF, but I have no clue what.

Ohhhhh... You just helped me with my blurry picture problem. Every time I make something in microsoft paint or take a screenshot, it becomes blurry when I save it. Thanks!
I thought exporting a sprite saved it as some wierd sprite file. I'll go try it.

Exporting a sprite makes a file with its own format, but to export a costume, you go to the Costumes tab, right-click on the costume you want to export, and click "export this costume".
