i got a site. ima using my computers web server feature though, and need to check if it works out of network. could ya test it please? thanks! here it is: http://alan/ (lol very hard) And no this isn't completely off-topic because its a scratch site. (and its got a chat box big_smile )

and keep in mind, i'm running it off my computer by using it as a web server. i'm using the macs built in "Web sharing" feature.

That is basically what you did. Only difference is that's a Flash game. Notice you can't access it cause it's my file, not yours

It doesn't work. I tried it just to show you. No one can access your website unless it's on another website (hosted) or has a www.com address

No-one can access it until you actual put it on the web. Even if it's on a web server it's still under your IP address and we can't access it.

I get redirected to Alan Colmes' Liberaland (www.alan.com). I'm guessing this isn't your site?
