Does my post go in Troubleshooting or All About Scratch?
I've noticed that there's some confusion surrounding the Troubleshooting and All About Scratch forums, and it's not hard to see why -- at first glance they seem to serve the exact same purpose. If you're curious or confused, here's a quick rundown of what goes in which forum:
All About Scratch:
Questions regarding Scratch programming itself, how parts of the Scratch software work, or questions about the website. Post here if you want to learn how to do something or are having trouble getting your own code to work.
Troubleshooting:
Bug reports! If you think there's a glitch in the Scratch software, website, or forums, this is a great place to report it. But it's not the right place to discuss glitches in your own code -- in other words, your own programming problems.
Rule of thumb: whose job is it to fix the problem? If it's yours, put it in All About Scratch. If it's the Scratch Team's, it goes in Troubleshooting.
Aaaand, Advanced Topics, for good measure:
"Advanced" means different things for different people, but here are some things that we can all agree are advanced: complex formulas, trigonometry, performance optimization, connecting/modding Scratch, and weird/neat ways to solve problems.
Rule of thumb: does your topic relate to things beyond what a class in Scratch programming would cover? If so, Advanced Topics might be a good fit.
I hope this clarifies things a bit. Feel free to comment below. Scratch onwards!

Ooh, good topic
That first rule of thumb is so good how did I not think of that earlier
The second one is good too
The whole topic is good

Very helpful. This has cleared some stuff up, the descriptions below the name in the Index are... unspecific. Great job!

I'm new here and I don't mean to sound silly. However, are there some projects already written that I can look at the code to see how it's written, instead of the end product. Case in point, I have written a program and I have a problem with a sprite gliding from one side of the stage to the other. I know I have written something wrong, or omitted something, but at this point I can't figure it out. Thanks.
