The ultimate movie experience ever.
Tron: Legacy
The special effects were the most astounding I'd ever seen. The storyline was kind of vaguely explained, the ending was too abrupt, but it was overall a very good movie. The end of the movie was the most shocking part, because it's an ending you would never expect...
See it now.

And this, fellow Scratchers, is an example how not to use a meme. Especially if said meme is older than the dinosaurs by this point, and much more annoying.
The trailer for Tron Legacy looked pretty cool, might see it. Though I haven't seen the original Tron yet.

See the original Tron first. You can watch the entire movie on YouTube. Just search "Tron Part 1", and then you'll get part 1 of the movie, and you can watch the rest of the parts. I watched the original movie first on DVD, but I watched it again on YouTube when I came back from Legacy.

Watch the first movie on YouTube. It's there.
The second you'll have to see in the theaters.

The original Tron rocked. Remember that it was made in 1982 and is a cult classic to this day. Back then, people were absolutely amazed by the CGI. Right now, it looks mediocre, but it's still very good.

You mean the original arcade game? I haven't played it on an arcade machine, but you can play it on the Tron Legacy website.

Eh, it was ok I guess. The original Tron game is the definition of awesome, but the movie wasn't that great to me.
The special effects were good, but the story was just silly. Also the ending was kind of predictable due to not-subtle-enough foreshadowing.

I think TRON may have a 2001 issue with it. Some people think it's great (like me), some people don't.

Was it like Tron: Legacy?
It was kind of like it. It had the same concept of the whole "world inside the computer" thing. Tron is actually a fun and adventurous, and can make you laugh sometimes (if you're a hardcore computer person, you'll find more jokes). Legacy, however, has a more darker tone to it, and it was all about the action and visual effects.
The funniest joke in Legacy was when Sam mentions Wi-Fi to his dad, and the dad's like, "What's Wi-Fi?"

I actually dislike the show, I just like the GIF. I'd prefer if you didn't, but if you do, tell me so I can find a new one.

Yeah that part was pretty funny.

I saw Legacy a couple days ago; wasn't the best movie, but had cool graphics and was overall a fun movie. I was too young to see the original Tron in theaters, but I know it's a sci-fi cult classic.

They used some special effects that had never been used before. They never used it again because it was too expensive, and now we can do better with computer animation.
PS: I'm working on a 2 player scratch version of the arcade game! It's gonna be epic!

Yeah that part was pretty funny.
And his dad (Kevin) is all like "I thought of that in the 80's!"
