Japanese Database-NEED JAPANESE SPEAKERS!

Thanks wiimaster, for getting my mind running, you always have these cool ideas that a ton of people like (unlike ben2, no offense).

So, I'm trying to learn Japanese (I have an iPhone app and stuff) and I can't do it by myself. I need help from the community! If you speak Japanese, you can help contribute! Watch my progress as I slowly progress to learn Japanese (to the extent where I can speak it semi-well.) I speak Chinese, so reading Kanji will be easier for me.

My Progress red=uncompleted green=completed
5%-Finish Hiragana
10%-Finish Katakana
25%-50 words/phrases, count to 100
50%-100 words/phrases
75%-have correct grammar when speaking, 125 words/phrases
100%-150 words/phrases, know stuff...

I will change and modify this checklist as I go along...

Also, please correct anything wrong and contribute!

Ebi: Shrimp
Nori: Seaweed
Buta: Pig
Saki: Drink
Pika: Sparkly
Chu: Mouse

Er- yeah. Some is probably incorrect, and it is all random.

Yes.

Actually, I just found out I made a mistake. Chu is 'squeak'

So it is Sparkling Squeak.
