Reflections are easy
Just clone the thing you want to reflect, then flip it, then add an alpha gradient until you get the look you want

I've downloaded GIMP recently. I haven't actually made much, just drew random stuff that I don't use for anything.

It wsa quite simple: just draw the outline shape (thick brush), then fill it with green and the outside with blue then slowly blur it together. Yeah I know, that didn't help.

GIMP kinda makes lines all squiggly when I draw slow lines. >.<
but,besides that it's a really good program. C:
I couldn't se the picture,but I bet it looks good.
I'd use GIMP for animating stuff. :B
