Skullduggery Pleasant is an intriguing book series, and personally one of my favorites. You can discuss it here.
I personally think it's a very slight Harry Potter ripoff, but otherwise it's very well written. The only drawback is the unrealisticness of it. I've figured out that if Valkrie and Skullduggery just spammed fireballs and pushing enemies back with Wind blasts, they could pwn most of the creatures easily. The only problem was, those creatures cleaned out their clock, because they didn't spam their powers.
Of course, if they did, there would only be around 3 books instead of 5, because the Grotesquery, Serpine, Vengous, White Cleaver and Diablerie would all have been defeated in about 3 pages, instead of 300. (No, I'm not exaggerating, the Grotesquery took over 300 pages to hunt down, then about 35 pages to kill)

MM... It's more of an ERAGON rip off, than Harry Potter. One of the rip off's is that they have "true names" which controll them. Know there name, controll the person. like valkyries name is
DARQUESSE
I've read every single one since they were fist released three years ago. They are great books; I didnt think much of the first one when I read it, but I saw the second one in an Airport and I had to buy something I new I would enjoy to read. I got really intruigued and the storyline is great. I need to read Mortal Coil; I hope its not the last one!

Why do you always add 'OB6160' to the end of your post? Just add it to your sig.
