Re: Scratch Advice

dude! you're exactly what I need! I can never make games for longer than 1 week! right now I'm making a game called capture the flag, the only difference from the rest is the AI is EXTREMELY smart and it scrolls, basically I'm going to say if it gets 10 love its I'll continue it, if it does get 10 love its that's when I might decide to stop making it or I do continue, but I never get a good update available

Re: Scratch Advice

ok, Dingdong: Ive made several projects, none have ever been on the front page, but i deal with it. it can be frustrating if your project doesnt get the recognition it deserves, but maybe, if you try hard one day it will, post it in galleries, tag it, but dont spam other projects, everyone hates that. Just so you know, i will be one of those ten love its because i know you tried hard.

Laine: How about a game that shows all of your areas your good in. You could do a trivia game that turns into a fighting game that turns into a maze game that turns into a platform game, but only a little bit of each, and you earn points throughout the game?

Re: Scratch Advice

and also dingdong, if your game doesnt get a lot of views or a lot of love its, dont think its your fault, it could be that people arent looking hard enough. Even if you dont get ten loveits, i think you should continue because people are normally attracted to finished games

errrr... no dude I've been dealing with that for over half a year now, my problem is I usually quit making a game after awhile, I need motivation to continue making it, but thanx anyway!

i ahve been on for over  a year. i ahve the same issue.  NO MATTER WAHT, YOU NEED TO KEEP ON MAKING IT. IT WONT EVER BE RECOGNIZED UNLESS YOU FINISH IT. IF YOU GET FRUSTRATED TAKE LIKE HALF A DAY, OR A DAY, OR EVEN A HOUR, DO SOMETHING FUN/RELAXING AND JSUT KEEP ON BUSTIN IT OUT, YOU CAN DO IT DOOD I KNOW YOU CAN

How about a game show with those as the challenges?
