Any Silent Hill-ers?

Anyways that franchise sounds awesome and I want to know if the games are really all they're racked up to be. Now I won't be able to play them until I'm older because 1. My parents hate violent stuff and 2. I'm a total wimp. But anyways the whole "phychological horror" thing sounds really cool and I'm wondering if anyone here thinks it's a good game.  big_smile  Someday I might want to play through.

It can be any game from the franchise, not just the first one.

(Don't ask why I got into it, it's kinda a complicated story. Let's just say I'm full of contradictions and Pyramid Head is my Texan friend)

Well there's 7 games out right now I believe. Shattered Memories is the only one on Nintendo devices though, and apperently it's the least freaky

just go to your local gamestop I'm almost sure they'll have one. Plus they're coming up with a new one.

Re: Any Silent Hill-ers?

Right so it looks like I'm the only one so far on this thread who's played them. Their pretty awesome. Although no offense but you sound like you might have a hard time playing it. If your into "pyschlogical" horror, I'd give Alan Wake a go. Trust me, it's more recent, (this year) and the storyline is hugely gripping.  big_smile

Actually I was talking about how EVERY enemy symbolizes something that has to do with a character's life. Abstract Daddy....sick, but it does symbolize something....

Pyramid Head- the character wanting to be punished for his sins.

Double Head- Alessa's fear of dogs.

Some kinda questionable material, I just found the following link cool.

Start out with Saw:The Video Game first, then move on to Alan Wake, and if you're still able to handle it move to Silent Hill. Once you've completed everything except Silent Hill:Origin, then you can complete it, because Silent Hill:Origins is the creepiest.

Error:Signature could not load. Please wait for an indefinite amount of time, until you realize you're gullible and go off to look for another potentially interesting signature to stare at.

Resident evil series
The games that aren't just killing loads of zombies are fun because you get to explore the mansion. After 4 it starts to get like that

Nobody needs to know about a movie based on a game. Ever.
