Good, nice. We must spread the word and get some more people on this project though.

@lt7(is that fine for a nickname?)-you should just accept wiimaster-i told him to come. his works are really good.
@wii-i think for the new sprites, lt7 wants to make some secrets or something, maybe like a new legendary. idk... you'll have to wait for lt7's answer.

@wiimaster You`re in, what i`m looking for are some custom awesome looking pokemon. By that I mean like a big scary guy like girantina, but not exactly like him just a big pokemon.
@FlyingHatTrick You`re in also, same thing as above, i`ll be telling you about more pokemon and what I want to do I think I might put custom starters.
@kaybee Sure you can call me lt7,haha. You can also accept people ya know.
also damage is under eevee. We probably have to change this though, make a different script, because of the addition of new pokemon.

Yays~
Just a quick question, are we going to use Generation I or II sprite, or is the project going to use the newer Generation sprites?
I have some ideas for custom starters...

Are you going to have programmed Pokemon with different base stats, and learn moves at certain levels and all that stuff, or are they going to have the same moveset throughout the game and not have different bases?
Offline
@kileymeister-i'm not sure what lt7 thinks, and i'm not sure if they'll have different movesets, but seeing what he/she already did, i think we can handle different movesets.
@mooster-i've seen your works, so you're accepted.
@lt7, i'll try to get more realistic attack powers for the hps. and stats.
also, i think soon we'll have to start cutting out people from acceptance.

It's just I've done some research on the matter (while trying to make a Pokemon game myself), and I learned that each individual pokemon has a specific base for each stat, specific movesets, catch rates, and experience rates. Not to mention every single individual Pokemon (not each type, each individual Pidgey or whatever they are, and every other kind) has an independent variable for each stat (as a kind of unique bonus), nature (most valued stat), stat experience points, level experience points, and so on and so forth.

We probably won't have 150 pokemon, maybe 50 at the most, (unless this is on something else) and we probably will only have these:
attack
defense
maybe evasiveness...
and for the attacks:
attack
accuracy
maybe pp.
catch rates will be an average, like either 50, 60, 70, or 80... and experience will too.
there will be no nature of each pokemon, and all level experience points will be level times the number (a specific number for each one, between 50-100 or so)

Anyways, I've gotten a couple sheets of battle graphics... so do y'all want me to convert them into GIFs and put them on Scratch?

@Kiley thanks for stating that, I was wondering how to work around this, I might have to work around a new code.
Offline
i can make the new code:
user attack: ua (around the user's level)
opponent defense: od
power of move: pm
any weakness: wn (will be 1 if none)
any strongness: sn (will be 1 if none)
formula:
[(ua/od)*pm]*wn*sn
@flyinghat-upload them onto a sprite sheet and post it on here. you can post all on one, just mark which is which. do not put them in a project.
Offline
@kayy yeah, that'll work. Better and more efficent then current we'll swap stuff around and get things done.
