Should I buy Minecraft...

Before Beta comes out? For one thing, it's cheaper, and I get all future updates free. (which is being removed from the license). I get survival mode, and a skin. what are the other benefits of alpha?

I am also considering buying it. It costs 20 dollars, right?

Actually, it costs around $12. Trust me, it's worth it.

Oh. If it was 20$ I couldn't buy it. I need to save my bar mitzvah money for college, but this won't take too much off.

Re: Should I buy Minecraft...

I don't know, but the difference between 12 and 20 wouldn't really change your college fund much.  tongue  but once it gets to beta it will be 15 euros, IDK how much that is in $$

Re: Should I buy Minecraft...

I'd definitely buy it. REALLY great game.

HOWEVER, as of yesterday, once you buy it, you won't automatically get all future updates. You'll have to probably pay for them or something. However if you already bought it (like me), then you get all of the future updates, including the final game.

OBJECTION!

We will also change the license to remove the line that promises all future versions of the game for free. Please note that this change only affects people who buy the game after December 20, so if you got the game for during alpha, you will still get all future updates for free, despite this change. A promise is a promise.
Buying the game during beta will include all updates up until release, of course, and bug patches will be free.

Yeah. I was rephrasing what he said in the blog.

Except maybe by "as of yesterday", I meant to say "after December 20". I think I might have misread it  tongue .
