I am really mad right now. I just posted a game that took my the entire day to do. (I work slowly) I go to the new games section of the projects page and its already almost at the bottom, because a group of idiots decided to spam pictures of buffalo and ghosts. There has got to be SOMETHING you can do to stop this. There are a lot of good projects that go unnoticed because of this.

Maybe it was a school assignment with lots of students...
I don't see many projects like that, though.

In the Newest Projects section, a lot of projects don't even get on there; it doesn't show all the projects, it just checks every five minutes for the latest projects and puts them on.
Honestly, you're not going to stay on Newest Projects for long - there's no point.
How are you going to stop the 'spam' projects, anyway?

If it's the same or similar project being posted over and over again (especially by different users), then it's probably a school assignment. It happens sometimes, and you shouldn't stop them.
The thing with newest projects, as Jonathanpb said, is it only updates every 5 minutes so you have a slim chance of getting it anyway.
The best ways to get your projects viewed are to advertise where you can, like in the show and tell forum or in your signature. You can also try adding people to your friend list, and if they add you back, your projects will show up on their My Friends' Latest Projects section on the front page.
So, it's unlikely those people are spamming, and there are ways to get your projects viewed outside of Newest Projects. The tips up there ↑ are proven to work, so don't get discouraged!

I do see lots of projects with scratch cat, a bird, a buffalo, and a desert stage for some reason...

Thing is, unless we change the rules there is no problem with spamming the server with 1 scratchcat projects.

That never works.

Spam is hard to control, I'm sure theres a way around this issue somehow, but I'm not sure how. If it happens you can always flag it as inapropriate.

Spam is not against the rules, so nothing happens.

They weren't spam, I looked at them, they were games, just because they may not be the best at drawing or programming, doesn't mean it is spam.

It's not really spam... Just simple test projects that people make.

1) This topic is over a year old.
2) It already exists; it's called the Scratch Team.
