Unfortunately, Scratch doesn't even have an iDevice app at the current time due to Apple's habits of excluding certain softwares (Java, Flash) our app only spent a very short period of time in the App Store. So maybe if we could get Scratch back on Apple's list of softwares, then we could move ahead and design some for other phones, like the Android or BlackBerry.

I'm learning Objective-C to make a new Scratch app. I also have the android SDK, so I could work on that too.

Thank you for mentioning our project. However, Catroid is still alpha---very alpha. Expect a beta version in the course of the next months. It initially will have much less features than Scratch, but the projects that can be realized already now are fairly nice, e.g., a multitouch piano application. We are more than 30 people working hard but part time on realizing it. It will not be compatible with Scratch because of the different input/output capabilities and restrictions and also because we want to take advantage of the motion sensors etc of Android devices. We release it under a free open source (GPL) license.

1. Please don't bump old, dead topics.
2. Check out the topic titled "READ THIS BEFORE SUGGESTING ANYTHING". It has a header concerning Scratch on portable devices.

Scratch is in java. The main programming language for android is java. I just want to play my scratch games on my phone.
Again, please don't bump up dead threads.
This was dead then semi revived until it died and then you bumped it up again.
Suggest it yourself, instead of bumping up an old thread.

Hey guys, I used to do alot of scratching until i got fed up with limitations(the main one being not being able to fully make an un-extractable executable program from scratch even using converters), then i got an android phone and since I'm not the best with the coding side of things(I know c++ but not enough) i went hunting and came across this: http://www.appinventorbeta.com/about/
it seems to have a similar setup, like interlocking blocks and stuff but I am still to investigate more. hope i helped... a little

If you give me an HTML code version of Scratch, I could make the Android and iPad and iPod and iPhone app plus make one for the Kindle Fire.
