This Is Really Offensive...
I recently found this question on Yahoo! Answers http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index … 212AAEp1SO and I was pretty offended. Whoever this person is, they need to look further into this so-called 'bad animation'. This person's talking about how badly animated anime is. It's not. Japan has so many good quality cartoons. Japan has no more better quality animation than America. It's not really good to say. I mean, why criticize Japan about their animation when they have so much more than a lot of other places. They provide technology, toys, video games, board games, etc. and that's what you're going to say about their animation. That's a little over the top. Don't you think? Yeah, America has a lot of good toons (SpongeBob, Foster's, Charlie Brown, Phineas and Ferb, and such), but why criticize them, when we have even worse toons (Fanboy and Chum Chum).

This person is pointing out some things about anime that he doesn't like (and he's kinda right about the lack of movement and the frames being spread out, I find that annoying to). There's nothing wrong with it.

Admittedly, I don't like anime/manga (great drawings, but the style isn't the best (in my opinion) ). But I see what you mean...

Not really offensive, but I do find anime more likeable in general, I just think the jokes are funnier than most US cartoons

I have no REAL opinion on this, as I rarely watch Ameriican/Canadian/Anyotherofthetype cartoons, and I have NEVER watched Anime...

IMHO, Anime isn't that badly animated, BUT.... I prefer American ones.

Offensive? It's his opinion. He can say what he wants. And if this topic was about someone saying they like anime and you thinking that's offensive, I would still be saying the same thing, BTW.

it's not offensive, it's the truth, and are you saying that you can't criticize one aspect of japan due to other aspects? that doesn't really make sense. like i can't say someone is bad at something because they are good at someone else.
