I don't even remember this happening, but I read up on it. Man, that's not nice, put me on there. Puts a really bad impression now on Namco.

Your random legal threats are most helpful. Please keep sending them. If we wish to banish the scourge of proprietary software, we do need more companies like yourselves to play the role of the villan as well as you do.

Although, considering Namco's actions, I'm willing to bet they tossed it in the trash since it seems they don't really care about us. (

Well, the news had spread out over August, when the news initially spread out in August. It seems that this thread is probably the one that constantly keeps updating (okay, so the list sadly has not been maintained well, but the fact that the thread is still alive is good news that this issue has not been so easily forgotten    ([EDIT] I used my mods powers to update the list [/EDIT])

It seems that this action by Namco may not be new, though. According to this article, other companies follow pursuit (although it fails to mention which ones. I for one, would be interested to see which companies are also inconsiderate of Fair Use laws in the U.S).. Kind of pretty said, ne?

There's a lot of Japanese companies. I kind of don't want to blame Nintendo, Sony,
Konami, Ganbarion, etc, until I see some kind of proof.

I just meant that....yeah, nevermind. I wasn't trying to sound lime I was blaming anyone, if thats how you felt. I was trying to say that they might be "next in line". I don't think that they would do so however.
