Re: auto logging off!

If all the computers are macs it happens a lot. To fix it Look up "Java Preferences" in spotlight and switch the version of java to 1.4.2(I think that's what it is) and it should be fixed, but sometimes project's won't load.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Re: auto logging off!

It could be that internet explorer is causing the page to close on you.  Here is a forum discussion from our website on this topic:

You may want to try the Mozilla Firefox web browser (it's free) instead of Internet Explorer...you can download this here:

Re: auto logging off!

That happened to me for a while (I use a mac) but then it suddenly stopped. I can view projects with no trouble now, and I have no idea what I did!

Re: auto logging off!

that happens to me, apparently it is something to do with an old version of mac OS or java.

THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN ON PCs. why is that? it's so unfair! oh well. I updated my mac to leapord on intel (yay) and the problem disappeared.
