A sticky that states "3D is not gonna happen" in the title. Seriously, it's suggested so much.

Inside the thread, list alternatives such as starlogo.

3D in scratch is a no. You are welcome to attempt to simulate 3D, but support with blocks that change z position etc. are a no.

Some alternatives include
alice
starlogoTNG

(both of which are horrible)

Why would you want 3D in scratch anyway? If you can't make a 2D game where a person moves around, how would you in 3D?

People don't read that very often though. My suggestion is to change the name of the forums to "Suggestions that don't involve 3d", but thats my personal opinion. tongue

I have to agree that we need a way to make it more noticeable, though. I think the only people that actually read that thread (and others like it) don't really need to read it. tongue

Maybe have a system where the word "3D" or "3d" is automatically changed to "2D". So...
