My teacher gave us this sheet of common phrases at the end of writting class today (my first college class finished
). They're common phrases that are put into super complicated wording and I want to see if you guys can solve them. I could only figure out about half of them.
Example - Everything that coruscates with effulgence is not ipso facto aurous. = All that glitters is not gold.
Example - You cannot estimate the value of the contents of a bound printed narrative from its exteriour vesture. = You can't judge a book by it's cover.
I'll post them a few at a time because I'm sure alot of you won't be able to solve them lol. And I'm not going to hide the answers in invisible text so don't try to cheat
