I don't think age is an issue. There's no logical way for someone to hack you or stalk you or steal your money and what not because they know your age.

What I don't think is right is putting it up on the front page.
It's like saying: look at this forum page to find out the ages of scratchers
Rather than asking people and recording them yourself
