Today, I tried something on my desktop. I was on Twitter to check my followers list. And what did I do?
I tried changing:
http://twitter.com
to:
http://mobile.twitter.com
The site was just like the way it is on my iPod touch. It doesn't work well on Google, though. It shrinked to mobile size. I tried it with Twitter and Formspring, and it worked (I might not know for Formspring very well, because I usually use the full site on my iPod).
So this is interesting. You should try it put.

Wonder if Scratch works this way? Wanna try?

Nope. The website has to be redone for mobile use, which the Scratch Team hasn't done to Scratch (and probably never will).
