Hello Scratch Community!
As the year 2010 wraps up, I though I would officially open nominations for the Best of Scratch Awards 2010!
If you would like to nominate a project, leave a comment below with a link to the project . You may nominate your own project, but only one of yours. Please limit the amount of projects you nominate to two. Voting will take place one week from now, and the winner of the Scratch Cat trophy* will be announced shortly after.
Every project submitted will quickly be reviewed by me. If it's a short little, pointless thing, like a 1s1s, it will not be accepted.
Here is a link to the Scratch Awards 2010 Nominations gallery.
Thank you and Scratch On!
EDIT: VOTING HAS BEGUN! VISIT THIS THREAD TO VOTE!
*You won't actually receive a trophy in the mail or anything, but your project will have the honor of being in the Best Scratch Projects All Time gallery.

What I'm about to nominate is humbled before what's already been mentioned, but:
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/antimon … de/1216062
And, http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/antimon … de/1331306
I would nominate my 1s1s1c scroller thing, but it's just a demo so far.

probably because you have a bad computer and an even worse attitude.
let's see you try to make a better game then, instead of posting mean comments every time i talk about games i've worked hard on, it works absolutely perfectly for me, so maybe you should stop wasting time and start working on finding a computer that can handle running a simple scratch game.

I'll nominate the only game I've written this year:

El Dorado Pinball

are you serious man
the attacks dont work unless your x velocity is zero but until then they bottle up so that once you are standing still you attack a bunch whether or not you are pressing the attack button
the ai is not ai but rather for a second player so the opposing character really only works if you have someone else or two separately functional sides of your brain
the only part i can see would take time is the character selection which features pretty cool cheese dude, block guy from a long time ago, purple block guy with wings, badly drawn karate dude, some guy that looks like hes from those old ff flashes, orange ball, oversized 08jackt sprite, orange haired disembodied head, 08jackt's radar, radar supporting character, 08jackt's old limbless, kileymeister popsicle, correctly sized 08jackt sprite from before, and mecha thing
i mean i guess itd take some time to make all the costumes for that but it looks like you made other people do that

lol there's a 100% functioning ai lol, click the button above player two
as for attacks, that doesn't happen for me so i'm very confused XD
as for the characters, they're all from other games, that's the idea, but i did quite a bit of art changes and importing and lots of work on it.
im sorry I blew up, but your constant talking down to others irritates me.

@ tuffghost: a few times i've noticed, i'm sure you didn't mean to, i'm just slightly annoyed, sorry.

This is a pretty neat idea; i think i will nominate a project later. I might make a topic called 'Scratch 2010', where we can disuss the best games, forumers ans so on.
