I made the math team...
Yes the math team, in 6th grade, the middle school team. YESH!
Just to make it clear, we have kids like me who will practice on the practice team, then my coach will deciede who will go to compete. (Only like 5 kids, 6trh graders dont norrmaly make the compition part)
We will so who goes to the compition in a few months.
Does your school have a math team? Are you on it?
Ps my tooth right now is split in half, lol

My school has a Math Counts team, but I don't do that. I do Reading Olympics instead.

Congratulations on making the math team
Quick, solve these and post your time -
Four points, A, B, C, and D, lie on a circle having a circumference of 17 units. B is 5 units counterclockwise from A. C is 3 units clockwise from A. D is 11 units clockwise from A and 6 units counterclockwise from A. What is the order of the points, starting with A and going clockwise around the circle?
and
If 3x/2 + 12 = 4, then x = ?

Congrats! Our school has a math team, but I didn't make it. I was the 2nd reserve player I believe. It's not that I can't do the material, I just can't complete it fast enough

My school has a science team, some of the questions are math problems. I was forced into it by my science teacher, It was either that on not getting a decent grade ever again (she holds grudges)
We still lost epically though lol

Right now, we have 12 to 9 kids on the team (Not sure yet) but we will practice, it has some aligbra and a ton of problem solving questions.
