Sometimes people put secrets in projects offline, and it is still downloadable and the people try to find secrets. That can spoil secrets. If anyone finds a way, please post something. Thanks!
P.S. Scratch on! <show>

They won't make projects undownloadable. Scratch is meant for sharing programming.

Yeah, what Ace said. It has been discussed in the past, but the main problem with it is that it kinda takes away from the share of "imagine, program, share".

This.
Scratch is designed so that you can see the source code of any game you play or any animation you watch.

one thing you could do is encrypt it. but then again, someone could just run the disencrypting script and uncover that secret
Offline
put pieces of that secret here and there, putting random letters inbetween that encryption, and using a disencrypting script to get it back to readable

WHAT IF there is a secret???
There's not really any secret but there is a guide by Chrischb on how to be extremely annoying to people who want to download your projects and steal the scripts (or perhaps just look at the coding

Yes. It's here By the way.
How to make your projects impregnable to hackers!

Still, the project is downloadable, it is just a little less obvious how it works. Scratch is meant so that you can learn off of other peoples' work, a key feature. Without it, it rather defeats the purpose of Scratch as an educational tool, doesn't it? Making the best project ever really doesn't mean anything unless somebody can learn from it

Exactly. Like I said, you can also share it on your own site. I don't think the "share" term applies there.
Even with sharing it to their own site without uploading to Scratch first, it still is rather easy to get to the original project if the user wants to find it.

You just add /download to the end, it even works if you're not logged in.

Upload your projects to another site and block the downloads that way if you really don't want people downloading it.

This is what ace said. The project creator makes it undownloadable. Not someone else.

One person said that you could put a ; in the title and if you have windows there's a chance you can't download it (maybe depending what type of windows you have) in fact (according to the coments ) if you have windows (if they commented that they had windows and coulden't/could do it) half of the people with windows could not download it.
so there you go!!

What if they want to find out the secret? Sometimes if a secret is to hard to find, they'll just want to find out. I'm that way sometimes too
