oh - and it's the "RESIDENT SHIELD ALERT"
UNINSTALLING AVG @ present moment - i have two other antivirus and will get an old version of AVG later - warning - do not download AVG '11

Avast. Get it. Simple to use + free forever + real time shields. Win all around.

A way to fix would to be to restore your computer to before you recieved the virs, but it looks like you have taken care of it.

Get Microsoft Security Essentials + Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware free.

Do you even know what those messages are saying? It says that viruses are embedded into essential windows processes. You need to delete the files mentioned yourself and replace them.
What you don't want to do, is disable all antivirus software because the viruses can spread and really wreck your pc.
And for the record, AVG is an excellent anti-virus software. Its not AVG's fault that you put viruses on essential processes and have no idea what to do about it.

I'm starting to question why I installed AVG 2011.
I've had my fair share of problems with it, too. It might be time to switch to MSE or Avast....

So you're trying to say that AVG is trying to scam into into buying a full version? Trust me, AVG is too big of a company; they can't afford to ruin their reputation with petty scams like that.
