None of these songs are really "epic" (i.e. grand, heroic, inspiring, in the original sense of the word). It's either a bunch of rock songs (lot of good songs, but the genre isn't known for being particularly epic), rap (known mostly for the same drumbeats over and over, not epic either), etc.
This, however, can be classified as "epic" music.

This guy is one of the only good solo musicians on Youtube btw, though all his stuff is instrumental film score-inspired songs (which nevertheless sound "epic"), and none of it is live afaik (all FL Studio, which amazes me personally)

Wow S65! Thanks for posting that link here. It is beyond me how one person could compose such amazing music.
Truly represents the word "epic"!

Good song, too
I like Under Pressure, the Jedward ft. Vanilla Ice mash-up.
Put it this way, all Jedward music is epic/awesome/wicked.

Forever - Drake ft. Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Eminem. It's from last year.
Oh yea and All The Above. All the Above is awesome but I don't remember the artist, and it's from 2008.
I'm not really into old music from 2 decades ago.

All of those that wiimaster mentioned, and my own personal favorites:
Warriors Of Time - Black Tide
More Than A Feeling - Boston
The Catalyst & New Divide - Linkin Park
I Just Want You - Ozzy
Modern Day Cowboy - Tesla
Summer Song - Joe Satriani
Sweet Child O' Mine - GNR
Some of the best songs I have ever heard. Note no DF or Metallica.I hate metallica.
I also hate AC DC and Guns n Roses. Blech.
I normally hate Europe (The band. I love the place) but The Final Countdown blew me away with epicness.
how could u hate metallica

I never saw anyone live, except for an impromptu (I wasn't planing on going) Adam Lambert concert. The fangirls were all in their 60's *shudders*.
@PoDo: Rock on!

In popular culture: Probably Turn to Stone by ELO
But I must admit I really like "Benedictus" as sung by "The Priests". I think I'm the only one here with a taste for classical.

I like classic rock, like Elton John's stuff. "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" and such. But, yeah, for true classic you seem to have the monopoly.
