Top Five Animated Television Programs Worth Tuning Into

1.
http://www.playerzblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/free-online-spongebob-squarepants-games-3.jpg
You've all most likely heard of this show. It's called 'SpongeBob SquarePants'. It is perhaps the best childrens' shows around, with brilliantly designed characters and such. I mean, who could ever think up of something as brilliant as a sponge that wears a tie. A shirtless starfish. Don't forget the fish, who look nothing like fish at all. That's what makes the characters so unique. Not to mention, the cartoon is created by a former biology teacher, so I think he knows what he's doing when he creates another episode of SpongeBob.

'Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends' is a delight for almost every age group out there. It has a unique storyboard and never gets boring or unentertaining. Like SpongeBob, it has greatly-designed characters. Another fact to point out, it has brillianty designed art. And the characters, who could ever think of a home for imaginary friends. All the creatures look so superb and I don't think anyone could create such a good show.

'Phineas and Ferb' is another well-thought series starring two stepbrothers who build something everyday. That's not all, they do something wackier and wackier each episode. Weirdly-designed characters that look so nice. The art looks so nice. Everything looks so nice. A secret agent platypus, who could ever think up of something quite as original as that. A british guy who's head looks like a palm tree. Unique names to the characters. That's all, it's a very good show.

Here's another good show, Peanuts and all of the other Peanuts-related televsion specials/shows. Cute characters blend in with a well-designed background. Snoopy is probably the best character in the whole series. He has that charming look that's so irresistible. A nice show overall.

Last but not least, who could ever forget the 'Animaniacs'. This is the one of the best 90s shows of all (next to Ren and Stimpy). It stars three wacky friends, whose names I can't recall. They look so different from your typical, average cartoon characters. 'Animaniacs' is a classic to behold.

I don't watch Teletubbies for the last time! I just started a forum about it, that's it! Teletubbies isn't one bit worth tuning into for a guy my age. Anyways, glad you like it.

Re: Top Five Animated Television Programs Worth Tuning Into

I like the Peanuts TV show, but I disagree when you say Snoopy's the best. He's cool, but it's obvious that the Woodstock is the coolest.

And Spongebob was (repeat: was) cool. It's meant for little kids now. The new episodes are for five year olds.

GUIDE: NUKE = Too awesome for words. the BOMB = Just awesome. Inferno! = Good. Forest Fire = Okay. Candle = Just plain bad.

Season 1: the BOMB
Season 2: the BOMB
Season 3: NUKE
Season 4: Inferno!
Season 5: Inferno!
Season 6: Forest Fire
Season 7: Candle

Re: Top Five Animated Television Programs Worth Tuning Into

Spongebob doesn't really deserve to be up there.

I would have a hard time believeing that guy knew anything about the water at all, considering you might just as well make a show about humans who think their underwater but have every single neccesity known to man.

Characters in it are even worse, one relies a bad-mouthing, the giggles-obnoxiously, one's life obsession is to make a recipe he helped create, and another has endless slapstick comedy . . . on himself.

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

Funny you should mention that...
For some reason I got the first 100 episodes box set last year for Christmas when I still somewhat liked it, and I saw on the special features that the guy who created the show used to work in an aquarium.

Since when are cartoons even remotely realistic?

That is screwed up, please try and be a little more nicer about SpongeBob. It has a lot of fans, like me, that find what you just said offensive.

I know. Thanks for being on my side. You know, the director was even once a marine biologist teacher. I think he knows a thing or two about the ocean. Even more than SoupOfTomato who so boldly declares that Stephen Hillenburg knows nothing about the ocean. If you want more, here it is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Hillenburg

I love you in a non-creepy way

But like banana500 said the show developed into a little kids show

At one point (2005) it was pretty good but now...
