I suggest using the Show and Tell section of the forums (with moderate bumping [when you make a post on the page to "bump" the topic to the top]), adding the project to galleries, adding lots of tags to the project, and making friends with people who may regularly check your projects or even help advertise. Also, when you become "Scratcher" you can put a link to your project in your signature.

After that, it's a bit of a chance. I myself have only reached the front page once (and even then only for a very short time).

yes, its hard to get front-paged. featured or curated is easiest though because the love-it system is corrupt because only famous scratchers get enough views to be front-paged

Uhg yea I really hate the love its...I mean look what happened to youtube. People giving 5 stars or none, so they removed it. Like why do you want to watch a movie of some guy eating food like...what...and those avatar thing, ah yes "Anthros" how are those so popular?!
