Not currently, without modification at least (I'm not sure whether it's possible with modification, either... but I'm not the best person to ask about modifying Scratch).
However, you could try using a scrolling technique to give the illusion of a larger area, or perhaps (if scrolling doesn't seem to fit your project) simply making sprites smaller
