Scratch is a great programing platform, but like everything, it can be improved.
I have been thinking about this for a long time, and what you are about to read is what changes I think should happen.
1. I think that the number of projects on Scratch is so large, that it needs an archive, with the most loved in Scratch ever, and things like that. Because projects can only be on the front page for so long, many people miss the chance to see some of them.
2. It would be really cool if you could set up high scores on Scratch for your games. That way, you can easily keep track of who has "Mastered" your game, and to add a little exiting competition!
3. If it would be possible to allow games on Scratch to communicate with sites like Facebook, weather.com, google, or google spreadsheets, then not only would the projects on Scratch be a lot more interesting, but company's could use them to advertise.
4. It would be interesting to see what people would do if it was possible for their games to read/interact with the comments it gets. (just a passing thought)
5. Last but not least, the ability to allow multiplayer games would be EPIC! Just imagine the possibilities!
Thank you for reading this! If you want to add on, comment!

All those would be great, I'm hoping for some <( ) touching ()> blocks, that would save me heaps of programming, a timeline for animations, a broadcast that continues while a button is held (So you could do things like while so and so is being broadcasted, do this), all these would be great, I especially like your archiving thing cos Im on steam so my 1gb broadband gets used up very quickly and projects take forever to load

o.O
They changed the Top loved archive..?
Oh. And apparently Scratch 2.0 is somehow going to be able to interact with facebook, Twitter etc: Although I'm not sure whether that's good/bad yet xD
The other ideas are good too though .
Also, multiplayer games are possible to make already. You just need to program 1,2,3,etc: sprites to use different keys depending on what game your making.

I think she means virtual, on separate computers.

I would like some changes to the online player itself- with Flash, it would look better.

Top Loved Ever
Top Viewed Ever
Top Remixed Ever
I wish those links were more public, though.
I like some of your other ideas

There IS already a online editor, but it is NOT embedded in teh project. I recommended a button which would show the editor in a frame (If you know HTML, you'll know what I'm talking about.).

I think scratch is good but i think there should be a sprite selection for example:
when flag clicked forever if sprite 4=x position=44 go to mouse pointer.
Offline
I also think that it could be better if in variables there should be _ _ _ _changed by?
EG:when flag clicked forever if _ _ _ _changed by 1 set _ _ _ _ _ to 55.

I ALSO think there should be a turn in sensing for example when flag clicked if turn = sprite? forever go to mouse pointer if not turn = sprite? go to y o x -180

There already is that, it's in the sensing section.
