Just trying to get an answer on a question for my Flash game!!!! Errr… just need to know basically the equivalent of "changing costumes" in Flash, and if I should use Movie Clips or Buttons for my Bomb Squad game

What? You have discussions with your classmates about who you think is the most famous scratcher? I didn't know people took internet fame so seriously.


Also, about that flash question. MovieClip symbols actually contain a movie inside them (that is why they are called movieClips). A moveClip symbol can have many frames so you can change the frames to give the MCs different "costumes".

So if walking left is on frame 2 gotoAndStop when you press the left key and if walking right is on frame 1 gotoAndStop on frame one when the right key is pressed.

Also, go to NG to ask flash questions.

The advice you got is correct. You use keyFrames inside movieClip symbols.

yes, you did. Remember that incident a while ago? When B2A first joined? I got B2A and Coolstuff mixed up. It was about a week after I discovered that CFC was Bluestribute.
