Why is it that in a project, when you reply to a reply, it is hidden from the page unless you view it directly from messages or reply yourself to the same comment? Is it to save room?

I think it might be to speed up the page and the game. It's necassary. I think at least.

I think it is because if the convo goes on that long it usually is not important to anyone else

I have a feeling it's designed that way to save space. Other websites with similar message mechanisms have the same thing where replies are hidden (unless clicked) when the reply list reaches a certain threshold.

Ha, when I first joined scratch I would get replies to my replies and view them in my messages. Then, after I deleted the message, I would want to see the comment again. But I couldn't find it because I didn't know about the 'show' button. So I kinda freaked about that until I saw it.
Anyway, I would think it would be to save space.
