How the loss of popular video game characters might affect gaming.

Hi.

IGN posted a list of which characters should just leave and die. Some of the included wern't added negativly, but instead putting a milestone in gaming. One example was Spartan 117, what if the battle for humanity got the better of him? His demise, and a transformation on video gaming forever, that's what.

These days, gaming is mostly E10+ games along with Happy unicorns and flowers with stories that are getting too cuddly. Shadow the hedgehog tried, but failed, to make the Sonic franchise take on a darker story, With Shadow trying to find the truth about himself and Maria.

It's intresting really, how when people get to know a new character well, like in Reach with Noble 6, they then get killed off. Reach may had have a mute pallete, but it was a good game, possibly due to the dark story.

Imagine what it would be like in a Sonic game if Tails fell to certain doom? Well, for the player and Sonic, it would be terrible to see that, what a b;ue hedgehog considered a brother just saw the "Brother" fall.

In other words: A game with good gameplay is good. But when it has a dark story, along with gameplay, graphics and sound, it's great.

(Note: I don't think I understand it at all, So don't think your alone.  tongue )

-_- I said excess, not all. Some of the games are good (The first 3) but look at some of the newer ones. (Not to mention the overflow of characters that just sit there and don't do anything.)

Sonic gets annoying after a while

They should kill him and make Shadow the main character

I think his character needs an overhaul. It just screams 90's and needs to be changed, that's why he's so annoying. That and the voice actors he keeps getting.

...Why am I talking about this. Anyway, I figured out another. Kill off...uh...um...Mr. Imadethisdudeupdude!

Killing characters makes it dark, like in Shadow the hedgeho- Oh wait, no one dies in that.
