I have SC2. I know some other people who only play the original, so I know that I'd be killing you if I told you that they got rid of Firebats.

For those who don't know:
It's a strategy game from 1999, made by Blizard (World of Warcraft), and it was really popular when it came out. It's based in space and you fight different aliens and stuff. It's pretty addicting once you get used to it. They also released a second one this past summer.

Meh, firebats are only good for close range. But they're still pretty cool.

My friend is a dedicated StarCraft player (Brood War and 2 at least), but I don't have it. He's trying to get me to play, though. I have my own RTSes to play, though, and I know the abbreviation SC as Supreme Commander!
Not to say I don't like Blizzard, though, 'cause they made The Lost Vikings

There's actually a minigame in SC2 called Lost Viking
It's a space shooter, and the Viking is a new air unit.
